Overview

Catch22’s Greater Manchester Victim Services is looking for a dedicated Victim Care Specialist – Fraud & Finance to deliver enhanced, person-centred support to victims of fraud and economic crime.

In Short

  • Provide direct support to victims navigating the criminal justice system.
  • Help victims understand their rights and recover from fraud's impact.
  • Manage your own caseload and design preventative sessions.
  • Work closely with key partners like Action Fraud and GMP.
  • Co-develop accessible resources for diverse groups.
  • Upskill colleagues in fraud-specific support.
  • Flexibility to work in the community and outside standard hours.
  • Full UK driving license required for business use.
  • Permanent contract with full-time hours (37.5 per week).
  • Hybrid work model with 2 days at GMP HQ and 3 days WFH.

Requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) – essential.
  • Relevant qualification in victim support or economic crime – desirable.
  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals.
  • Understanding of fraud and economic crime victimisation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple agencies.
  • Confident in delivering awareness sessions.
  • Proactive, empathetic, and solutions-focused approach.
