Overview

The role of Career Coach is an excellent opportunity to work within the local community, across a new national green skills and employability project, funded by Shell. You will support service users to progress into apprenticeships, employment, education, and training opportunities.

In Short

  • Support service users in their journey to employment.
  • Work with local communities on a national project.
  • Induct and assess participants for employability programs.
  • Prepare participants for job applications and interviews.
  • Engage with participants to ensure job sustainability.
  • Deliver workshops and seminars for job readiness.
  • Maintain regular contact with participants.
  • Work collaboratively with referral partners and employers.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Hybrid working model with both office and remote work.

Requirements

  • Experience in coaching within the Employability sector.
  • Desirable qualifications in IAG (L3), ERS (L3), Coaching.
  • Knowledge of strength based recruitment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and deliver on objectives.
  • Positive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience in preparing CVs and job applications.
  • Ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work some evenings and weekends.
