Backend Engineer (Workflows) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join CARTO’s Workflows team, where you will help build a low-code engine for spatial analysis.

In Short

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience shipping production systems at scale.
• Deep database expertise with at least one primary warehouse.
• Experience with TypeScript and Node.js in a production context.
• Comfort in a serverless and cloud-native environment.
• Hands-on experience building with AI.
• Strong opinions about software quality.
• A collaborative, low-ego approach to engineering.
