Overview

AI Fund is launching a new venture in Generative AI and seeking a Founder in Residence (FIR) to lead it from concept to company. This is a ground-floor opportunity for a technical builder with proven 0–1 product experience to shape, execute, and scale a venture.

In Short

• Define the product vision and lead technical execution.
• Serve as the company’s CEO.
• Apply deep GenAI expertise to solve user problems.
• Work closely with a Product Builder and Technical Builder.
• Demonstrate strong technical fluency in GenAI and modern ML frameworks.
• Experience in shipping full-stack, cloud-native applications.
• Build and launch 0–1 products.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Hands-on technical leadership for a new venture.

Requirements

• Experience presenting to investors or participating in capital raises.
• Deep knowledge of target industry (e.g., renewable energy, compliance).
• Previous co-founder or founding engineer of a VC-backed software company.
• Prior startup or founding engineer experience preferred.
• Familiarity with fundraising or technical stakeholder communication.
• Domain expertise in the venture’s target verticals is a plus.
