Engineering Manager, Platform - Remote

Overview

As an Engineering Manager for the Platform team at Cardata, you’ll lead a team re-building our core platform from the ground up. We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a startup environment, balancing technical contribution with strategic and effective delegation.

In Short

• Lead and mentor a high performing engineering team.
• Evaluate and own the platform architecture.
• Be hands on in the development while ensuring efficient project execution.

• Partner with the Lead Product Manager and key stakeholders.
• Monitor KPI’s for continuous improvement.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency with Typescript, React, PostgreSQL, NodeJS, NestJS, and NextJS.
• Understanding of Clean Code Principles and testing.
• Experience with logging and monitoring platforms such as Datadog.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage teams and align with business goals.
• Growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning.
• Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
