Platform Engineering Manager - Remote

In Short

• Coach, Manage, and Develop the Platform team to deliver on key infrastructure for the product roadmap
• Drive the technical health of the platform components
• Own the architecture strategy and roadmap
• Act as a thought partner to leadership and colleagues across engineering and product
• Deliver highly observable services using distributed tracing, logging, and metric collection

Requirements

• 2+ years experience leading Platforms-focused engineering teams
• Ability to build strong teams via hiring
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong technical experience with focus in Python microservices
• Ability to define and continuously improve the architecture of cloud-based microservices
• Ability to define the longer term technical strategy around scalable service platforms
