Deployment Engineer (LCA & Data) - Remote

Overview

As a Deployment Engineer (LCA Focus) at carbmee, you will be the critical link between enterprise data and environmental science, transforming raw industrial and supply chain data into high-fidelity Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), product carbon footprints (PCF) or Environmental product declarations (EPD).

In Short

• Blend data engineering with environmental domain expertise.
• Design and deploy automated LCA models at scale.
• Enable customers to move beyond high-level estimates to product-specific insights.
• Ensure deployments meet the data rigor required for LCA, EPD, PCF and CBAM.
• Transform LCA from a one-off consultancy project into a continuous operational process.
• Communicate technicalities to both data engineers and business procurement leads.
• Work with customer data systems.
• Focus on Scope 3 emissions.
• Provide insights that drive engineering and procurement changes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Technical Consulting.
• Expert proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation and API integrations.
• Strong understanding of LCA methodologies (ISO 14040/44, 14067) and the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
• Familiarity with SAP (S/4HANA) or Oracle systems.
• Obsessed with data quality and analysis.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Fluency in English; German is a significant advantage.
