Overview

As a Relationship Account Manager I, you’ll play a key role in managing a proactive customer sales renewal program, engaging with customers to ensure their timely renewal and facilitate their renewal process while focused on upselling and cross selling additional products.

In Short

  • Meet or exceed direct sales digital subscriptions renewal goals.
  • Proactively reach out to customers a minimum of 90 days prior to renewal date.
  • Active sales focus on renewals with upselling and expansion intent.
  • Schedule and meet with customers virtually to discuss account health.
  • Forecast sales revenue on a monthly basis.
  • Implement a sales process to drive a predictable revenue cycle.
  • Resolve issues related to order processing and license expirations.
  • Negotiate extensions or payment terms based on communication with customers.
  • Maintain accurate information in the CRM system.
  • Handle requests to cancel renewal maintenance/subscriptions.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in sales, marketing, business, or education preferred.
  • One year of inside/outside sales or customer service experience.
  • Salesforce proficiency preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • PC proficiency, including internet, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Technology savvy and eager to learn new tools.
  • Persistence and relationship-building skills.
