Finance Director - Remote

Overview

As a Finance Director at CapsLock, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the fast-growing marketing business, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing strategic guidance to support our business goals.

In Short

• Lead and mentor bookkeeping, FP&A, and taxation/compliance teams.
• Oversee accounting and improve financial policies/practices.
• Supervise budgeting process and provide recommendations.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with developing and maintaining internal controls.
• Oversee tax filings and compliance with statutory obligations.
• Navigate M&A transactions and due diligence.
• Continuously improve financial processes and reporting.
• Provide insights on financial performance to the executive team.
• Manage relationships with banks and external consultants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA, CPA, ACCA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with financial reporting and IFRS/GAAP compliance.
• Proven track record in financial planning and analysis.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive nature and growth mindset.
• Fluent English.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a remote global team.
