Capella University is seeking a Part-Time Faculty member for the Master of Science in Nursing program, focusing on Adult Gero Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. This role involves providing high-quality instruction and mentorship to doctoral learners in an online setting.

In Short

• Teach asynchronous 10-week courses in nursing.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years clinical practice as a Board Certified AGPC-RN.
• Two years of teaching experience in an online setting.
• Experience working remotely with teams.
• Evidence of supporting learner success and quality teaching outcomes.
• Doctorate required, with a degree as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Current RN and APRN licenses in state of residence.
• National certification as Nurse Practitioner in Adult Gero Primary Care.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with curriculum development preferred.
• Ability to meet critical thinking and problem-solving expectations.
