Business Analyst - Independent Price Verification - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in Independent Price Verification (IPV) to support critical valuation and pricing initiatives within the organization.

In Short

• Collaborate with the IPV team to analyze and enhance price verification processes.
• Work closely with valuation experts to assess and refine models for fair value determination.
• Elicit, document, and validate business requirements for IPV-related enhancements.
• Analyze large datasets to support IPV processes and identify discrepancies.
• Act as a bridge between IPV, Risk, Product Control, and IT teams.
• Ensure all IPV processes adhere to relevant regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline IPV workflows.
• Develop detailed documentation, including business requirements and test cases.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and implementation phases.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services.
• Hands-on experience with Independent Price Verification processes.
• Strong understanding of financial products and valuation techniques.
• Familiarity with pricing tools and market data sources.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python.
• Knowledge of IPV frameworks and regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• A degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM are a plus.
