• Designing, building, and maintaining core Kubernetes infrastructure components
• Extending and supporting tooling to build and manage virtual machines
• Investigating and resolving system performance and reliability issues
• Creating and refining automation to improve reliability and reduce operational overhead
• Being on-call for the team's products and drive operational excellence
• Sharing knowledge with other engineers in infrastructure best practices

Requirements

• Strong coding proficiency in Python or Golang
• Experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production environments
• Strong understanding of Linux systems and performance troubleshooting
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation
• Understanding of cloud networking and security principles
• Experience with observability systems and practices
• Methodical approach to problem-solving and debugging
• Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to make appropriate trade-offs
