Overview

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer in the Editing Experience group at Canva, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to create innovative editing solutions that impact millions of users worldwide.

In Short

Design, develop, and deploy software solutions.
Work primarily on web frontend with TypeScript.
Collaborate with leads, designers, and product managers.
Facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Model initiative and ownership in achieving goals.
Identify opportunities for cross-team collaboration.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills required.
Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and MobX.
Comfortable with backend infrastructure and APIs.
Passion for performance debugging and benchmarking.

Requirements

Experience in software development, especially in web technologies.
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
Experience with performance debugging.
Experience in building internal/external SDKs or APIs is a plus.
Understanding of browser rendering and event handling is helpful.
