Overview

Canonical is seeking an outstanding software engineer passionate about networking to contribute to the development of open source networking solutions, optimizing Ubuntu for various hardware and applications.

In Short

• Work with advanced operating systems and network application technologies.
• Participate in delivering the Ubuntu SoNIC or DENT stacks.

Requirements

• Exceptional academic track record.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM.
• Knowledge of networking architecture, design, and protocols.
• Understanding of Linux networking.
• Fluency in C/C++ and at least one of Rust, Python, or Golang.
• Professional written and spoken English.
• Experience with Linux.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and self-motivation.
• Ability to travel twice a year for company events.
