Electrical Engineering Designer - Remote

Overview

You will be a member of our multi-disciplinary team and will work under the direction of a licensed engineer. Projects may include new construction and renovation in educational, healthcare, sports, corporate commercial and science and technology.

In Short

• Prepare basic construction drawings and specifications of electrical engineering systems.
• Design lighting, power distribution, and telecommunication systems.
• Analyze engineering documents and layout systems.
• Apply knowledge of electrical code for building power distribution design.
• Recommend improvements to enhance quality and streamline production.
• Assist in the review of shop drawings and submittals.
• Gather information for RFI responses and change orders.
• Conduct job site visits to verify conditions and observe progress.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum ABET/EAC Bachelor degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience required.
• EIT/FE preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Experience in engineering design software (i.e. Revit, Navisworks) preferred.
