Co-Op Student, Researcher in Strategic Engagement and Advocacy - Remote

Overview

The Co-Op Student will support the Strategic Engagement and Advocacy team by conducting research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the healthcare landscape.

In Short

• Conduct research, literature reviews, and environmental scans on healthcare topics.
• Synthesize complex research findings into informative briefs.
• Collaborate with teammates to transform knowledge into actionable insights.
• Write concise and informative briefs on key topics.
• Report to the Manager of Strategic Engagement and Advocacy Programs.
• Focus on identifying current trends and needs in the healthcare landscape.
• Work closely with the Bilingual Health Policy Strategist.
• Engage with key external stakeholders across Canada.
• Support advocacy opportunities for CMPA members.
• Temporary position from September to December 2025.

Requirements

• Enrolled in an academic program focused on research and communication.
• Experience reviewing peer-reviewed research.
• Experience conducting environmental scans and literature reviews.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Office 365 and related software.
