Overview

The Finance Business Advisor provides integrated financial insights and strategies that support the unique objectives and operational requirements of the Association as well as specific designated client groups.

• Partners with business leaders to establish annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Prepares comprehensive financial and headcount reports for management and Council.
• Provides strategic advice for budgeting, financial planning, and analysis processes.
• Delivers insights linking financial analysis to business performance.
• Challenges thinking and influences change in decision-making processes.
• Improves financial reporting to enhance understanding of business performance.
• Builds partnerships and maintains relationships with senior management.
• Advises on emerging trends and potential risks.
• Analyzes financial results and investigates unusual variances.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• Accounting designation required.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise financial applications.
• Experience working with senior management and various stakeholders.
• Experience with Workday and Adaptive Planning is a strong asset.
• Experience with Power BI and reporting tools is an asset.
