Overview

CampusWorks is seeking a strategic and customer focused leader to lead the strategic and tactical technology activities and systems onsite at our partner institution, Fresno Pacific University, in Fresno, CA.

In Short

• Build and maintain strong relationships with institution’s leadership team.
• Lead IT planning and alignment with institutional priorities.
• Stay current on IT trends and seek opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure IT initiatives are approved and prioritized.
• Act as a steward of the institution’s budgets and resources.
• Lead vendor negotiations and partnerships.
• Develop and recommend IT policies for security and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee an IT team of approximately 10 individuals.
• Lead the security and integrity of IT systems and data.
• Research and evaluate new technologies for infrastructure enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in leading IT initiatives in higher education.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of higher education technologies and systems.
• Experience with technology solutions for higher education challenges.
• Ability to lead diverse groups to agreed outcomes.
• Agility to respond to changing institutional priorities.
• Ability to lead organizational change and transformation.
• Experience in politically-sensitive environments.
• Preferred: Master’s degree and ITIL certification.
