The Project Manager plays a key role in leading initiatives to optimize processes and technologies in higher education institutions, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery.

• Lead planning, execution, and closure of large-scale implementation projects.
• Oversee day-to-day activities to ensure alignment with project scope and objectives.
• Drive project decisions and ensure continued momentum to meet deadlines.
• Manage project risks, issues, and escalation paths.
• Ensure vendor fulfills contractual obligations and delivers high-quality outputs.
• Monitor university staff task completion and resource allocation.
• Establish project governance structures with stakeholders.
• Develop core project documents including Project Charter and Risk Register.
• Facilitate weekly status meetings and deliver reports to stakeholders.
• Communicate progress, risks, and decisions effectively to all levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience managing enterprise software implementations in higher education.
• Strong experience in project oversight and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong working knowledge of Ellucian Student Information Systems.
• Expertise in the full project lifecycle.
• 3+ years with a consulting/professional services firm preferred.
• PMP or other project management certifications preferred.
