Overview

CampusWorks is seeking a strategic and customer focused leader to lead the strategic and tactical technology activities and systems onsite at our partner institution in Northern NJ.

In Short

• Build and maintain strong relationships with institution’s leadership team.
• Lead IT planning and alignment with institutional priorities.
• Stay current on the latest IT trends and best practices.
• Ensure IT initiatives and funding are prioritized.
• Manage budgets and resources for optimal return on investment.
• Provide leadership in vendor negotiations and partnerships.
• Develop information technology policies for effective technology use.
• Lead an IT team overseeing technology infrastructure and support.
• Implement cybersecurity measures for data integrity.
• Research and evaluate new technologies for enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience leading IT initiatives in higher education.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of higher education technologies and systems.
• Experience in leading diverse groups to achieve outcomes.
• Agility to respond to changing institutional priorities.
• Ability to lead through change and transformation.
• Foster positive employee engagement and trust.
• Ability to work in a politically-sensitive environment.
• Master’s degree and ITIL certification preferred.
