Data Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are a young team from the RWTH Aachen environment, pragmatically making the energy transition. With Calvergy, we are building an AI-supported platform that maps corporate energy systems as a digital twin, compares options like waste heat utilization, CHP, heat pumps, KWK, PV, or batteries, and derives clear and sustainable supply concepts.

In Short

• You will analyze load profiles, generation & price data, and derive KPI insights for customer cases.
• Create reports and visualizations on profitability and CO₂ balance.
• Develop methods for data preparation (e.g., cleaning, transformation, aggregation).
• You will support the modeling of energy systems (e.g., with PuLP/OR-Tools) and work closely with backend/frontend teams.
• Work directly with the founding team and see your impact immediately.

Requirements

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Energy Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear results and visualizations.
• Structured, analytical work style and enjoyment of numbers.
• Proactive attitude and motivation to shape the energy transition.
• Nice-to-have: experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Python/Pandas, SQL, Excel).
