The Senior Advisor - Transmission Assets Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and compliance of California's electricity transmission system, working under the direction of the Manager and acting as a technical expert.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (power systems emphasis); advanced degree preferred.
• Ten years of related experience, five at a lead level.
• California Professional Engineering license preferred.
• Experience with high voltage transmission facility equipment.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical information clearly.
• Experience with GIS mapping software is desired.
• Ability to work independently and in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Ability to negotiate with diverse stakeholders.
