Overview

SELECT Power Systems is seeking an experienced Sr. Transmission Line Engineer to join their team, focusing on the design of high voltage transmission lines.

In Short

Design transmission lines in the 69kV to 500kV range.
Mentor and train less experienced design team members.
Coordinate design activities to ensure compliance with specifications and codes.
Prepare technical reports and studies for clients.
Perform independent reviews of calculations and drawings.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
PE license required.
5+ years of transmission design experience.
Proficiency in PLS-CADD, LPILE, and MFAD software.
Experience with scopes of work and conceptual designs.
Direct client experience on transmission lines.
Knowledge of NESC, IEC, ASCE, ACI, IEEE, and ANSI standards.
Experience reviewing design drawings.
