Overview

The Combat Systems FMS Baseline Engineer will provide expert technical leadership for U.S. Naval Combat Systems, focusing on the Egyptian Navy's Fast Missile Craft program and supporting other Foreign Military Sales programs.

• Lead Combat Systems integration and engineering support for the Egyptian Navy FMC FMS program.
• Manage CDRL review processes and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges.
• Conduct technical investigations throughout the FMC Combat System lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Navy system security requirements for export.
• Oversee System Installation, Checkout, and Test planning.
• Develop and implement Combat System Release & Disclosure Guidelines.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.
• Provide expert support for System Design Certification and Acceptance Testing.
• Foster collaboration among stakeholders for program success.

Requirements

• Professional experience in naval combat systems design integration.
• Comprehensive knowledge of FMS acquisition programs.
• Thorough understanding of FMS Releasability and System Security.
• Expertise in systems engineering design artifacts.
• Demonstrated experience across all stages of combat systems life cycle.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically/internationally.
• Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively.
