Overview

The Registered Nurse at UMass Memorial Health is responsible for the planning, delivery, and management of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and adhering to the standards of nursing practice.

In Short

• Work 36 hours per week on night shifts (7:00pm - 7:30am).
• Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, and management.
• Administers medications and performs treatments as per policy.
• Collaborates with healthcare providers to ensure quality care.
• Participates in Nursing Governance activities and performance improvement initiatives.
• Requires current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and BLS certification.
• Preferred candidates should have a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
