Phlebotomist - Remote

Overview

The Phlebotomist is responsible for the daily drawing of blood from patients, ensuring quality and safe delivery of care, and maintaining communication between laboratory departments and nursing units.

In Short

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
• Day shift from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
• Responsible for blood collection from patients.
• Maintains open communication with laboratory and nursing staff.
• Requires rotation on all shifts and covering other sites as needed.
• Must comply with health and safety regulations.
• Additional duties as assigned by laboratory management.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certification in phlebotomy or medical assisting preferred.
• Previous phlebotomy experience preferred.

• Graduate of a phlebotomy or medical assisting program or practical experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
