The Patient Care Assistant I provides essential support to nursing staff by assisting patients with daily living activities, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining a clean and organized environment in a healthcare setting.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school education or GED.
• Current Basic Life Support or Heart Saver certification.
• Clinical experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
