Emergency Department Technician - Night Shift - Remote

Overview

The Emergency Department Technician assists nursing staff in providing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department environment.

In Short

• Work 24 hours per week on night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM).
• Assist patients with daily living activities.
• Obtain vital signs and perform basic medical procedures.
• Maintain and clean medical equipment and rooms.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient care.
• Document care activities in medical records.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Nurse Aide, Medical Assistant, or EMT required.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory.
• Work as part of a team in a diverse healthcare environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or licensure in a medical-related field.
• Current CPR certification.
• Previous experience in a medical-related field preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial.
• Must demonstrate age-specific competency in patient care.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to document care accurately.
