Licensed Building Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Licensed Building Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems for assigned properties, while providing excellent customer support and maintaining a safe working environment.

In Short

• Maintain and operate HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Provide customer support and maintenance solutions.

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure facilities comply with laws and codes.

• Read and interpret mechanical plans and specifications.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts Refrigeration Journeyman License.
• Five years of experience in the HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of control systems, especially Siemens Apogee and Johnson Controls Metasys.
• Ability to interpret detailed plans and manuals.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Universal EPA Refrigerant Reclaiming Certification.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
• Physical stamina to perform essential functions.
