Control Systems Lead - Remote

Overview

The Control Systems Lead at C&W Services is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting Material Handling Equipment (MHE) control systems to ensure operational efficiency and performance.

In Short

• Lead the maintenance and troubleshooting of MHE control systems.
• Work with various equipment including conveyors and scanners.
• Provide support to Operations and Maintenance teams.
• Monitor MHE metrics and resolve equipment electrical issues.
• Communicate technical issues and project timelines effectively.
• Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety procedures.
• Act as first level escalation support for technician teams.
• Perform controls systems assessments to improve reliability.
• Partner with leadership and vendors for new technology installations.
• Assist in the development of other technicians.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in control systems programming and troubleshooting.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with HMI, PLC, and VFD systems.
• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude.
• Preferred: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Leadership and project management experience preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in advanced automation controls maintenance.
• Physical ability to perform tasks in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work with PPE in fluctuating temperatures.
