Control Systems Lead - Remote

Overview

The Control Systems Lead will focus on maintaining, troubleshooting, and modifying Material Handling Equipment controls systems to ensure operational performance and efficiency.

In Short

• Lead the maintenance and troubleshooting of material handling control systems.
• Work with equipment such as conveyors, sortation systems, and control cabinets.
• Provide support to Operations and Maintenance teams.
• Monitor MHE metrics and resolve electrical problems.
• Act as first level escalation support for control system technician teams.
• Communicate technical issues with building leadership and maintenance teams.
• Implement solutions for difficult problems in control systems.
• Coordinate new technology installations with vendors.
• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Lead and assist other technicians in their development.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in programming and commissioning HMI, PLC, and VFD systems.
• Ability to interpret and modify mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Experience with various conveyors and sortation systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Positive attitude and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in electrical or control systems development.
• Leadership experience is a plus.
