Building Operations Technician - Remote

Overview

The Building Operations Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining HVAC equipment, ensuring efficient operation and safety within the facility.

In Short

• Troubleshoot HVAC equipment to determine problems and perform necessary repairs.
• Maintain HVAC equipment as part of the preventive maintenance program.
• Perform related duties such as snow removal and emergency repairs.
• Adhere to preventive maintenance schedules.
• Utilize CMMS to track resources and work performed.
• Initiate the purchase of necessary parts and materials.
• Work collaboratively with other trades to complete work orders.
• Willingness to continue training in current skill set.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Minimum three years of experience in maintenance in a commercial/industrial facility.

Requirements

• High School graduate, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to plan and organize work effectively.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and math ability.
• Positive attitude and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
