Microsoft Endpoint Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Microsoft Endpoint Security Engineer is responsible for ensuring the deployment, maintenance, and functionality of endpoint security applications across College-owned devices, while collaborating with IT leadership and support teams.

In Short

• Deploy and maintain endpoint security applications on College devices.
• Identify and remediate high-risk and non-compliant devices.
• Document remediation efforts using the established ITSM ticketing system.
• Recommend and assist in configuring security policies.
• Work in collaboration with the College’s PC support team.
• Commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week, with a preference for 30+ hours initially.
• Monitor alerts and remediate findings post-deployment.
• Ensure backup support for primary team members.
• Maintain effective communication and customer service orientation.

Requirements

• Microsoft certifications are required.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Customer service oriented.
