Accounting & Treasury Manager - Remote

Overview

At Butter Payments, we’re on a mission to eliminate involuntary churn and make recurring payments seamless. We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Accounting & Treasury Manager to own and evolve Butter’s financial operations.

In Short

• Own the accounting function ensuring timely and accurate month-end close and financial statements.
• Manage treasury operations including cash management and forecasting.
• Establish internal controls and maintain robust accounting policies.
• Support strategic initiatives and partner with leadership on financial modeling.
• Coordinate with external partners including auditors and banks.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in accounting and treasury functions.
• Experience from a top tier accounting firm and startup experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with financial systems like QuickBooks or NetSuite.
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience in a high-growth startup, fintech, or SaaS company.
• Hands-on experience with financial systems.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred but not required.
• High attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Strong communication skills.
