Overview

Burwood Group is seeking a Technical Lead/Program Manager hybrid to support a leading global freight forwarding company, focusing on technical leadership and end-to-end project lifecycle management.

In Short

• Lead full lifecycle management of complex IT and software development projects.
• Drive adherence to Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Manage budgets, timelines, and communication plans.
• Serve as escalation point for project delivery issues.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance to developers.
• Ensure code quality and technical alignment with business goals.
• Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders.
• Communicate technical topics effectively to diverse audiences.
• 7+ years of project management experience required.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience required.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and leading development teams.
• Strong background in Agile/Scrum project delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing third-party vendors.
• Ability to ensure accountability and quality control.
• Experience in the freight/transportation/logistics industry preferred.
• Familiarity with AS400 or similar legacy systems is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
