Senior Application Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

bswift is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer to join our Information Security team. You will be responsible for driving a shift-left security culture within our development teams, helping to build a robust application security/DevSecOps function from the ground up.

In Short

• Design and implement an application security program aligned with best practices.
• Integrate security testing across the development lifecycle.
• Work closely with engineering and DevOps teams.
• Cultivate a security-first culture within the development team.
• Establish a Security Ninja Champion Program.
• Develop and implement application security metrics.
• Evaluate the current state of application security.
• Provide secure design recommendations.
• Lead and assist in application-related security incidents.
• Provide Penetration testing oversight.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in application security or DevSecOps.
• Hands-on experience with security tools for application security testing.
• Deep understanding of the OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with React/JS, Microsoft .NET stacks in AWS.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native security.
• Experience designing security training programs.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally.
• Familiarity with security automation tools.
