Senior Platform Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help modernize and scale our infrastructure and data platforms as we migrate legacy, on-prem systems to the cloud.

In Short

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to design and build platform solutions.
• Lead cloud migrations from Oracle to Azure SQL or PostgreSQL.
• Analyze and redesign Oracle schemas and PL/SQL logic for cloud-native systems.
• Refactor database logic into Java-based service layers.
• Support hybrid environments during phased migrations.
• Ensure data integrity and performance during migrations.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate deployment and lifecycle management of containerized applications.
• Monitor and optimize system performance.
• Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data migration experience.
• 3+ years of backend development experience (Java preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Oracle databases.
• Experience migrating applications and data to the cloud.
• Azure SQL and/or PostgreSQL migration experience.
• Experience in regulated industries.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong self-starter with multitasking abilities.
