Senior Platform Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer for our client, an e-commerce player, to support the scaling of their high-traffic digital platform. This strategic role requires a global vision of architecture, a strong sensitivity to security, and the ability to respond quickly and effectively to incidents while improving platform resilience.

In Short

• Maintain and evolve Cloudflare configurations.
• Deploy and manage resources on GCP and Azure.
• Administer and update CI/CD environments.
• Improve the observability stack based on OTEL and Elastic.
• Define and update security guidelines.
• Investigate integration and communication issues between components.
• Participate in technical projects and incident analysis.
• Ensure fluid communication with stakeholders.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Support and train internal teams on tools.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Cloudflare, Elastic, CI/CD (Github or equivalent), Terraform.
• Strong application security skills.
• Good foundations in observability, monitoring, and metrics.
• Experience with TypeScript, Nuxt, C#, Azure, GCP.
• Ability to document and formalize processes.
• Pedagogical skills for training teams.
• Analytical and debugging skills in a distributed architecture.
• Experience in e-commerce and/or retail environments is a plus.
