Data Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Data Specialist is a key member of the National Employee Benefits Technology (EBTech) Department, responsible for overseeing software implementation processes, including data analysis, EDI configuration, testing, and training.

In Short

• Audit and upload data for new and existing customer website implementations.
• Create and configure EDI files for customer websites.
• Conduct testing and auditing of EDI configurations.
• Build relationships with customers, vendors, and carriers.
• Provide daily support to assigned customers.
• Maintain knowledge of health and benefits products.
• Promote teamwork and knowledge sharing.
• Accountable for quality assurance on EDI builds.
• Respond to customer support questions.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior analysts.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
• 2-5 years of applicable software implementation experience.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Experience with database applications.
• 2+ years of benefits administration experience.
• 1-2 years of experience with EDI file development.
• Ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly.
• Ability to obtain licensure in Life and Health Insurance (preferred).
