Project Manager, Fiber Engineering & Construction - Remote

Overview

Brightspeed is looking for a Project Manager, Fiber Engineering and Construction to join our team! This position will be part of the Engineering & Construction Fiber Build team, responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of engineering projects, network design, construction scheduling & implementation, and asset management.

In Short

• Develop and monitor engineering and construction build plans across various network types.
• Coordinate and create work schedules for on-time delivery.
• Track milestone activities for complex projects across multiple lines of business.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.
• Manage vendor performance to meet project deadlines and budgets.
• Utilize Cost Per Premise Modeling during design phases.
• Drive actionable data analysis with partner groups.
• Provide technical oversight to OSP build and Operations teams.
• Collaborate with leadership to design future state processes.
• Analyze Geographic Information System (GIS) data.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Telecommunications experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical work experience.
• Project Manager Certification.
• Experience with PM tools (MS Project, SmartSheets, JIRA).
• Knowledge of Telcom Network Design systems (IQGeo, GIS).
• Understanding of data visualization tools (PowerBI).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint & Excel.
• Ability to analyze data for strategic decisions.
• Ability to build relationships across departments.
