• Analyze technical requirements and create implementation concepts
• Develop, maintain, and enhance COBOL applications under IBM z/OS

Requirements

• Completed studies in computer science, information technology, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in COBOL development under IBM z/OS
• Good knowledge of COBOL (including CICS, BMS screens, XML, REST/JSON), JCL, TSO/ISPF, Rational Developer for z/OS, database development (DB2, SQL) as well as batch and dialog programming
• Experience in software design, requirements analysis, and documentation
• Basic knowledge of the V-Model XT and common methodologies in software development
• Ideally project experience in regulated/public environments or related industries such as banking or insurance
• Fluent German (at least C1) and basic English (at least A2) in spoken and written form
• Analytical thinking, teamwork, and independent working style
