DevOps Engineer (gn) Public Sector - Remote

Join us in shaping the digital transformation in the public sector as a DevOps Engineer, where you will be responsible for efficient process design and software artifact management.

In Short

• Analyze, develop, and optimize processes in the software development environment.
• Operate, configure, and maintain JFrog Artifactory and JFrog Xray.
• Automate workflows for efficient artifact delivery.
• Integrate artifact management into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
• Ensure security, compliance, and traceability of delivered artifacts.
• Set up and maintain monitoring and reporting solutions (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
• Support and train development and operations teams.
• Contribute to agile projects and collaborate closely with infrastructure and Dev teams.

Requirements

• A degree in IT-related or scientific fields or a comparable qualification.
• First practical experience in the KONSENS project is desirable.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and common development tools like Git, Maven or Gradle.
• Experience with container technologies like Docker and repository systems like Docker Registry or Helm.
• Initial professional experience with JFrog Artifactory and JFrog Xray and artifact management.
• Experience in administering Linux/Unix-based systems and using monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
• Understanding of security and compliance requirements in the software development process.
• An ITIL certification at the Foundation level or a comparable qualification.
• Knowledge of agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Fluent German (at least B2) and basic English (at least A2) in spoken and written form.
