Operations Manager - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a hands-on, tech-savvy Operations Manager who thrives in a startup environment and can wear multiple hats across HR, payroll, benefits, IT, and project management.

In Short

• Join a small, agile core team in an Industrial AI start-up.
• Participate in onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Act as a point of contact for payroll, benefits, and compliance.
• Oversee IT tools and manage user access.
• Support leadership in tracking project timelines and budgets.
• Build processes for documentation and communication.
• Assist with contracting, reporting, and invoicing.
• Start on a consulting basis with the opportunity to move into a full-time role.
• U.S. Citizenship required for government contracting.
• Remote position with occasional on-site meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, HR, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years in operations/HR/business administration.
• Proven ability to manage HR, payroll, benefits, IT tools, and project coordination.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS/IT systems.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Start-up operations scaling experience preferred.
• Vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
• Remote team coordination experience preferred.
• Familiarity with government contracting compliance preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
