Overview

The Bids and Tenders Team plays a critical role in delivering the business’ growth strategy. You will support the competitive bidding process for individual customer requirements, public sector framework agreements, and corporate opportunities.

In Short

  • Write, edit, and proofread PQQs, ITTs, RFPs, and other bid materials to deliver high-quality submissions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to develop innovative win strategies, themes, and response structures.
  • Ensure brand consistency, tone, and alignment with company culture by coordinating with Marketing.
  • Develop and maintain a centralised knowledge library, including templates, case studies, policies, and reusable content.
  • Attend customer feedback sessions, incorporating lessons learned into future submissions and templates.
  • Utilise digital tools (e.g., bid management software and data visualisation platforms) to enhance bid efficiency and presentation.
  • Engage with clients post-submission to gather feedback and strengthen relationships.

Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven proposal or bid writing experience (essential)
  • Proactive drive and enthusiasm to learn and innovate.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with proven ability to craft persuasive content.
  • Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with collaboration tools like Teams and SharePoint.
  • Experience with industry best practices, bid processes, and public sector procurement regulations.
  • APMP Foundation qualification (attained or willingness to achieve).
  • Familiarity with bid management software (e.g., Loopio, Qorus) and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI) is advantageous.
  • Technical or IT industry knowledge is a plus.
