Overview

The Indirect Purchasing Buyer at Bosch is responsible for managing supplier relationships, leading contract negotiations, and ensuring compliance with purchasing policies while driving continuous improvement.

• Manage and mentor key suppliers in specific material fields.
• Lead contract negotiations with suppliers.
• Ensure fulfillment of policy targets for assigned materials.
• Collaborate with colleagues to implement strategic plans.
• Review purchasing requisitions and issue purchase orders.
• Conduct RFPs for contract renewals.
• Support contracting and compliance issues.
• Develop actions to meet key KPI deliverables.
• Prepare monthly status reports on RFP progress and savings.
• Drive process improvements for efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business or related discipline.
• 3-4 years’ experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain.
• Self-motivated with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• PC literate (MS-Office, SAP).
• Negotiation skills with cost savings results.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Fluent in English for business discussions.
• Able to support teams in North American Time Zones.
