System Administrator - Remote

Overview

The System Administrator will enhance the technology supporting the Air Force’s Legal Information Systems by ensuring compliance with security standards and managing various systems.

In Short

• Administer Windows and Linux environments.
• Implement DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Remediate findings from vulnerability scans using Tenable ACAS.
• Automate STIG baselines with tools like Ansible and PowerShell DSC.
• Generate compliance status reports and maintain documentation.
• Support ACAS remediation processes and maintain system baselines.
• Mentor team members and share expertise.
• Identify opportunities for network modernization.
• Collaborate with system owners on vulnerability management.
• Engage in continuous improvement of mission-critical networks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in system administration.
• Experience with STIG Viewer and SCAP Tools.
• Secret clearance required.
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT-II compliant Certification such as Security+ CE.
• Experience with scripting in PowerShell or Bash.
• Knowledge of AWS is a plus.
• Familiarity with the Appian platform is a plus.
• RedHat or Microsoft certifications are advantageous.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
