Overview

The Senior Security Engineer (AppSec) at Booksy will ensure that the application and its infrastructure are securely designed, protected from attacks, and free from vulnerabilities. This role involves collaboration with product engineers to integrate security into products and promote security awareness throughout the company.

Requirements

• Commercial experience in application security (risks, vulnerabilities, OWASP Top 10).
• Experience in software engineering.
• Good understanding of OWASP ASVS/MASVS, SSDLC, DevSecOps.
• Experience with Cloud Security (GCP, K8s, AWS).
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of architecture standards impacting security.
• Experience with web/mobile application engineering concepts.
• Familiarity with security tools like Burpsuite and Semgrep.
