Senior Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Security Engineer to help us scale and strengthen our security posture across infrastructure, product, and operations.

In Short

• Design and enforce technical security policies, standards, and controls across infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams on threat modeling and security assessments.
• Build tools and processes to detect threats and improve system defenses.
• Support SOC 2 and other compliance efforts.
• Provide guidance to the internal IT team on secure practices.
• Partner with internal teams for secure design and deployment of products.
• Act as a security point of contact for customer needs.
• Contribute to incident response processes.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging security technologies.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering or technical operations roles.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in a security engineering role.
• Deep understanding of securing Web Applications and APIs.
• Strong familiarity with cloud security, especially in AWS.
• Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code and modern deployment workflows.
• Experience with container orchestration and security.
• Experience working within compliance frameworks.
• Effective communicator of technical security concepts.
• BS in Computer Science, Security, or equivalent experience.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
