Finance Associate / Manager - Remote

We are seeking a talented Finance Associate / Manager to join our dynamic team in Berlin.

In Short

• Design, implement, and maintain a KPI dashboard in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Develop KPI models, validate data, and establish a structured reporting framework.
• Build and maintain forecasting models to support planning and decision-making.
• Implement and manage tools to streamline spend tracking and approval workflows.
• Build and manage budgets and cost structures, aligned with departmental ownership.
• Review and approve incoming invoices and cross-check with contracts/budgets.
• Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements (HGB).
• Monitor budgets, perform cost controlling and variance analysis.

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in a finance role (experience in startups/tech/fintech a plus).
• Familiarity with SaaS metrics and reporting tools.
• Native German skills & C2 English.
• Experience with tools for data extraction, transformation, or visualization is a plus.
• Structured, self-motivated team player, and eager to build things from the ground up.
