Director of Data - Remote

Overview

The Director, Data will act as our in-house technical expert, supporting both internal teams and clients across numerous programs and projects, ensuring data and insights are accurate, actionable, and aligned with client and project requirements.

• Oversee data acquisition, pipeline development, integration, and maintenance processes.
• Lead the strategy and execution of data integration projects.
• Coordinate with the VP of Data Science and Insights to create and maintain data products.
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and fidelity of data products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategic guidance.
• Pilot and test new analytics solutions.
• Provide strategic guidance to improve analytics on client engagements.
• Strengthen and optimize existing analytics processes.
• Mentor and develop team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve data acquisition and pipeline development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data management or analytics.
• Expertise in data acquisition, ETL pipelines, and data governance best practices.
• Experience in media analytics, data-driven marketing, or related fields.
• Success in piloting and deploying innovative data solutions.
• Strong technical skills in SQL and scripting languages.
• Experience with commercial datasets and providers.
• Proven ability to lead high-impact projects.
• Excellent technical communication skills.
• Strong ability to synthesize complex information.
